Spring has sprung (or it’s trying) and soon the valley fruits of Nova Scotia will be too. I can’t wait! I see homemade jams and pies in my near future….
For now, I’ve baked up some faux ones. At the top of our family favourites are blueberry (my husband’s pick) and my favourite …sweet sticky pecan pie!
I create miniature food sculpts (mainly dollhouse scale), out of my home, in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. I live surrounded by the beauty of local orchards and rolling farmlands. When my kids leave for school, I set to work, often in my pajamas, with my clingy miniature schnauzer, Lenny, at my feet.
I create only what interests or inspires me. My focus is on quality not quantity. While I often have only a few pieces available, they are very detailed as I continue to build my skill. If you are interested in having me make you something special, please visit my Facebook page and leave me a message https://www.facebook.com/blossomfriends/

My favorite kind is probably peanut butter.

Yep! It would be fun to have a meal completely of pies: shepherd’s pie or chicken pot pie for the main dish, of course the desert pies for desert… but I don’t know of any side pies… ๐

Those are simply amazing! They look really real. ๐ My favorite pie is probably either pumpkin pie, lemon merengue, or German chocolate.
